are sourced direct from an artisan distiller in

France. They are distilled solely for the water distillates

and are not a by product of essential oil distillation. Distillers of essential oils usually use plant material that has been dried for many days, resulting in a loss of a significant amount of water volume.

We prefer to use these hydrosols that are distilled for the hydrosol alone and use only fresh plant material.

These hydrosols are artisan-distilled at low temperatures which can be quite a labor-intensive process. We choose to use these because they produce a hydrosol that is skin nourishing and helps to restore vital energy for all skin conditions.
